Swedish newspaper JP
writes in 2019

"Mats Andersson creates images like a painting artist. Or as a poet. I will several times think of Christer Strömholm who has the same personal approach, regardless of motives."

Among 17,000 submitted photos in the International Nature Photography Competition Asferico, only 84 photos managed to be rewarded in 2022.

I'm very happy and proud that another of my landscape photos from Iceland this summer (2021) is rewarded internationally. My ICM-image (Intentional Camera Movement Photography) from Kolugjúfur is “highly commended.” We are only three Swedish photographer 2022 who are rewarded.
